Lcpl. Victor Dew, U.S. Marine 3/5 Battalion and a graduate of Granite Bay HS was killed in action on October 13, 2010 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom in Sangin Afghanistan.on April 4, 2013, The United States Post Office in Granite Bay, CA officially changed the name to the Victor Dew Post Office. The local Post Office General, U.S. Rep. Tom McClintock and other spoke.
